This past week, Ms. Margott Williams and Mr. Charles Cook were honored by the Texas Daughters of the American Revolution for their hard work preserving Olivewood Cemetery.
Blood. Sweat. Toil. Tears. These are the things that go into any labor of love and is exactly what they and the innumerable volunteers have poured into Olivewood. The profundity of the history, the desire to learn, and the curiosity that is sparked within the gates of Olivewood radiates to each person with whom we share the stories of those at rest here.
As we continue to share and preserve this history with our fellow Texans and the world, we hope you will join us in this endeavor.
